Hardy Perennial.
A rampant climber reaching 8 m height with a 2-3 m annual growth. It is hardy to zone 3 and is not frost tender.
The flowers are dioecious (individual flowers are either male or female, but only one sex is to be found on any one plant so both male and female plants must be grown. (Pollinated by Bees, insects. The plant is not self-fertile).

A Polish cultivar yielding red, tasty, sweet fruit (Mini Kiwi). It’s the earliest of all cultivars to ripen – it starts at the end of August and yields fruit until mid-September. Recommended for gardens as well as production plantations.

WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE: Fruit oval, 3.5 cm long and 2.5 cm wide, red if planted in a sunny location. Tasty, sweet, of red flesh and edible skin. Ripen from the end of August – beginning of September.

WHERE TO PLANT: The plant requires a warm, sunny and wind-protected site and moist but well-drained and fertile soil. Sustains frosts up to ˗28°C. The plant prefers light (sandy), medium (loamy) and heavy (clay) soils.The plant prefers acid, neutral and basic (alkaline) soils..It can grow in semi-shade (light woodland) or no shade.It requires moist soil.
